Downtown Rapid City is only a fifteen minute drive away.  It is called “The City of Presidents” with bronze statues of each of the presidents on downtown street corners.  The Journey Museum offers hands on learning about area history and special programs throughout the year.  The Berlin Wall and 9/11 Memorial located in Memorial Park are interesting stops while you walk past flower gardens, the lake and Rapid Creek.  The City View Trolley will take you on a tour of Rapid City for only $2 ($1 for Honored Citizens over 60 years of age).  There is unlimited on/off access all day with 16 stops at points of interest around the City.
